Brahmapur Sur Murchhana is an organisation devoted to the task of promotion of Indian Classical Music. It is registered under the West Bengal Society Registration Act. The main aims and objectives of the organization are

i.   Impart training in Indian Classical Music to deserving students

ii.   Encouraging the upcoming talents from the institution and every sectors of Classical Music by giving them platform to establish themselves as the future musicians of India.

Indeed the first concert by the students of the institution on 1st July 2005 at Gyan Manch was a great success and earned applause from the audiences and the critics. The concert was inaugurated by Sri Subhas Chakraborty,Honourable Minister of State for Sport and Transport, Government of West Bengal.
